Microzo Molecular Transport Medium are intended for the collection, transport and storage of swab specimens from Nasopharynx, Throat, Urethra, Vagina and also Sputum specimens from lungs. MMTS inactivates viruses, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. Each lot of Molecular transport medium (MTM) is manufactured under clean room conditions as per drug manufacturing guidelines and fully-automatic machines and our MTM Kit is approved by ICMR-NIB.

Transport Medium

  • The components inactivate the pathogens, lyse cells, denature proteins and enzymes, preserve and stabilize RNA/DNA.
  • It stabilizes the nucleic acid for transportation and release intact RNA/DNA for molecular diagnostics.
  • Inactivated samples are safe for transportation, holding and processing.
  • It can be conveniently stored at Room temperature
  • In self standing tube with conical bottom and screw cap
  • Sterile Components free of RNase and DNase.
  • Medical grade plastic components

Swabs

  • Nylon Nasopharyngeal Swabs having breakable plastic sticks.
  • Optimum absorption & release
  • Release rate can reach 95%- far higher than the Polyester / Rayon / Dacron swabs.
  • ETO/Gamma Sterilized.
